I beg your forgiveness…

I know, I have’t posted in ages.
I am a horrible person.
I fail at life.
But I’ve been a little… Occupied, you could say.

First: I may or may not have had a boyfriend for a few months.

Second: Said boyfriend may or may not have gotten a girl pregnant before he met me.

Third: A relative may or may not have been extremely suicidal and only told me.

Fourth: I may or may not be on “probation” for piercing my ear with a safety pin.

Fifth: My parents may or may not be pissed off because I got two C’s last quarter because I was going through so much crap.

Sixth: I may or may not be in a relationship with a Navy sailor who I only met once two years ago.

Seventh: I may or may not have an afternoon school because of the sub we had.

So, yeah. That’s been my life for the past few months. I will try to post more frequently from now on.

This. Ticks. Me. Off.

Seriously. Who goes around publishing photos of Princess Kate sunbathing? Scratch that. What kind of pervert goes around buying the magazines that publish the pictures?? Is there no decency left in the world? Seriously. Have a little respect for the woman. And to the photographer? How would you feel if that was your wife or sister? How about your daughter? I think we should boycott the magazines and websites that published the pictures.

And what about the “video that offended the Muslims in Libya and forced them to kill people” deal? Seriously people. It’s time to see things for what they are. And by a show of hands, how many of you actually saw the film before the drive-by media started carrying on about hateful and inflammatory speech? So think back to school, if you called your classmate a name, and they decided to punch you in the face, who would have gotten in trouble? And what makes me angriest, is that our government is apologizing to them! They’re the ones who killed our people! An ambassador and two extremely brave Navy Seals (rest in peace) were killed and we’re supposed to apologize?!?! Alright. I think I’m done ranting now.

It’s time to graduate… Plus a Reflection on 9/11

Ok, this is what… week four of school, and I am catching senior-itis. Got my senior pictures taken last weekend by my friend JP with an awesome camera. And then on top of that, I am dead tired.. Like trying to climb out of my desk seat and tripping over my backpack, my purse, my laptop cord, the desk, and my desk neighbor’s boot, that’s how tired I am right now. And did I tell you my inner hillbilly shows more when I ain’t got ’nuff sleep the night before? I was joking with my friend about how “my county is showing.” A person from my homeschool was talking to us about voting for the school fair king and queen.. I muttered to my friend “I’m sorry… were you under the impression that I gave a crap?” plus they’re bugging us about our senior trip which is to New York (only I kept saying Yew Nork) which cost a grand total of… (wait for it…) Seven. Hundred. American. Dollars. Are. You. Freaking. Kidding. Me. I could almost buy a car with that! And then somebody texted me during class (I have no idea why…) and I almost fell off my chair trying to take my purse off the table so the vibrating wouldn’t be so loud. So yeah. And it’s 9/11, so we watched a video in first period and I cried. It was really neat hearing what things other kids remembered about that day. One of my friends said he was at Big Lots (I think it was big lots) with his mom and they had all the TVs turned to the news so that the footage was playing and he thought it was a movie. Several kids remembered the sonic boom of jets breaking the sound barrier. I remember my first grade teacher turned out the lights and turned on the TV and told us to sit down and shut up (probably kinder than that but it was something to that effect). So…

God bless our nation’s heroes. Firefighters, EMTs, and our Armed Forces, thank you.

A Moral Dilemma

In my business program at school we’re doing a sales project that involves selling things for sweetest day (which I think is really retarded) and I would have thought this was a fun project except for one thing. We’re giving the profits to the Susan G. Komen foundation. You are most likely thinking “But they help fight breast cancer! What the heck is wrong with that?!?!” Well did you know they also help fund Planned Parenthood? So now I have a really tough choice to make. And keep in mind this is a 300 point project. So on one hand, my class is going to raise some money for Suzie G whether I help or not, but then I think, is there really any difference from that to being in the Nazi army and not refusing to kill Jews because they were just going to get killed anyway? The way I see it, is it’s a matter of principal. Yeah, people will keep throwing money at planned parenthood whether I help or not, but the point is I won’t have helped. So after consulting my parents I’ve decided to request an alternate assignment.

The Top Ten Things That Ticked Me Off Tonight

1. I did not get to play glow in the dark capture the flag. Which is basically the highlight of the back to school “stay-up-late-and-get-slap-happy” event.

2. My dad called me and left two voicemails like ten minutes apart. (have I mentioned that I HATE voicemails?) The first one was to tell me that he was leaving to come get me, and the second one was to tell me that he was on his way, therefore wasting my precious tracfone minutes to tell me stuff I already assumed was happening. (I did not listen to find out what the voicemails were about until after number 3)

3. After noticing I had two new voicemails, I checked the parking lot, assuming that he had called to inform me that he had arrived. He wasn’t there. I tried calling him back and he did not answer. At this point, the CTF game had started. It was about 11:50. I was to be picked up at midnight. So I decided to just wait as I would have needed to change clothes for CTF anyways.

4. I decide to go outside to wait for him, and sit on a rock. I am then joined by the idiot who broke my heart (I was 14 and naive. He was nice to me. Until he found out I wasn’t allowed to date. He feels important when he has a gf.) and his girlfriend. I expect he’ll be breaking up with her in a week or so. His girlfriends never last long. I can only assume (Since I was there first and he had plenty of other places to go) he was either trying to make me jealous, or just show off in general.

5. My dad showed up 15 minutes late, so I actually could have played CTF some if I’d have known.

6. My guy friend who’s parents are über strict and don’t let him friend girls on Facebook and stuff is moving away and I didn’t get a picture with him.

7. My friend who I asked (several weeks ago) if she’d be willing to do my senior pictures this year asked me, “So, are you a senior this year?” Yeah. Thanks.

8. I had to microwave my pizza and it got mushy.

9. Previously mentioned idiot and girlfriend sat with me and my friends (including the guy with the straight jacket parents) therefore wasting 30 precious minutes of my time with them.

10. My crush was not there. I wasn’t really expecting him to be but I was hoping.

Honorable Mentions:
11. They kept playing a really creepy/weird and utterly pointless music video.
12. I got hit in the back of the head with a volley ball.
